Since the birth of America, there have been women taking up arms to defend and fight for freedom. Though in the early days there was disguise and deceit involved, that is not the case any more. Women Veterans deserve recognition, and respect just as their male counterparts do. While we are amidst policy changes, allowing women to serve as combat Soldiers and Marines should be seriously considered.
